When
surfing the net and you come across a site that says "Get XYZ
Software free" what do you really get? In some cases you really
do get something for free. It may be a trial version in which some
of the functions are disabled, or it may only be usable for 2 weeks.
Other companies require you to pay for shipping and handling which
can be as little as $3.95 or as much as $20 so you need to decide
if this is a worthwhile investment or just a curiosity for you.
Some
examples of free software include the following:
Adobe
Acrobat Reader is free downloadable software, which allows you
to open and read any document created with Adobe Acrobat also referred
to as a PDF file. Because PDF's allow secure and reliable distribution
of electronic documents worldwide this format is usually used by
government agencies and businesses. Adobe Acrobat Reader also allows
you to view Adobe Photoshop slideshows and electronic greeting cards.
You can download this software at www.Adobe.com.
Roman
Lab Software. Any Password 1.3 is a free downloadable program
will not only let you store and arrange all of your passwords and
user ids, but it will also generate random new passwords. You choose
the password parameter such as the number of characters and should
it be all letters or include other characters. It also encrypts
all files so that unauthorized access is almost impossible. Go to
