Vertical Stitching

The VisualTour Stitching Assistant can now stitch photos that were taken vertically into a vertical scrolling panoramic scene. Simply check the "Vertical" option in the Stitching Assistant and the scene will be oriented and stitched vertically instead of horizontally.

Background Music Selection

You can now select from 25 music selections to play in the background of either your online tours, or the CD or slide show tours on you local computer. To make your music selection click "Settings" on the left menu, then click "Select Music". You can listen to the selection by clicking "Play."

New CD and Slide Show Viewer

The CD and slide show presentations now utilize the same branding as your online tour. This includes your viewer's colors, your banner and photo. You will note that most of the online options are NOT available with the CD based tours. This is because these options require that the user be online to access them, and the CD based viewer is designed to work while the user is disconnected from the Internet.

The "Send to Disk" option still uses the old viewer as the new CD viewer is substantially larger. However if you do have a tour with just a few scenes (probably 10 or less) without voice it is possible that the newer version will fit on a diskette. If you'd like to try, select the "Send to CD" prompt to create the tour then see if it will fit on a diskette instead of a CD. CDs are a far better choice than diskettes because:

  • CDs hold far more information
  • They can "autoplay"
  • They cannot be overwritten (avoids someone distributing a virus on your media)
  • Many new computers do not come with floppy disk drives

If you'd like to purchase writeable business card size CDs and labels for your printer we recommend that you try CDRom2Go.com.

Downloadable Branding

If your online viewer "skin", photo or banner changes, you can easily update your local branding for your CD or slide show based tours by selecting "Update Local Viewer" from the Setup menu.

New Scene Options

There are 4 new scene options available the first two only affect the online tour. The last two affect both the online tours and the local CD and slide show tours. These options are:

  • Flyer only - If you check this option the scene will be uploaded to VisualTour.com to be displayed in your online flyer, but it will not be displayed in your tour. This allows you to have separate photos for your tour and for your flyer. Note that only still images are shown in your online flyer, and by default the first 5 still images in your tour are shown in your flyer in the order that they are in your tour. The order can be changed by logging into your online account after the tour has been uploaded and selecting My Tours - Photos - Flyer from the Advanced Options screen.

  • Branded only - If you check this option this scene will NOT be shown when your tour is displayed from an when using an Unbranded viewer. This allows you to include scenes in your tour that show your branding (your logo, pictures of you or your office, the front yard with your yard sign showing, text descriptions mentioning your contact information, etc.) and have them shown in your normal, fully branded tour viewer, but have those excluded automatically when they shouldn't be shown (i.e. from your MLS.)

  • Effect - Select the transition effect that you'd like for this scene from the list provided. The selection will take place when transitioning from the previous scene into this scene.

  • Pano start - Select the position on the pano where you would like for the scrolling to begin.

Copy Scene Options From One Scene to All

To change the default delay, effect, pano speed or pano start on all scenes in the current VisualTour select the "Copy" icon to the right of the option.
